More for You and Mom!
In our last post, we passed along a list for movies to share with Mom (via Zoom, Netflix Party on Chrome), and here’s another good list from ET. Very little overlap, so check ’em both out!

We all have to keep our moms safe! So check out this tip from SF Gate. They recommend 15 movies to Zoom with your mom, and also link to the Netflix Party extension for Chrome browsers. Yes, it might take a little work on your end, but ain’t Mom worth it? Of course, she is!
Make this Sunday night family time with this super fun line-up of singers and great Disney songs. We’ve got some John Legend and Jennifer Hudson. We’ve got some Katy Perry. We’ve got some Halsey. See the whole line-up here!
I’m truly sorry I didn’t get this one up for you in real-time, but this great program of top-notch Colorado musicians plays on! (And so does your opportunity to donate.) The Lumineers, OneRepublic, Nathaniel Rateliff, Jewell and Isaac Slade and many, MANY more serenade the effort from home in a beautifully personal way. Go Colorado!
At Bingelandia, our whole notion is that binge-ing isn’t about finding what’s out there. It’s about matching what’s out there with your mood and your appetite – which may be one in the same. So we love the way the Watch from NYT suggests binges to fit your sched this weekend. Hey, why not bookmark both of us?!
If you’ve never binged a bunch of Tiny Desk concerts, you’re really missing something. And don’t ya know… here’s your chance! To me, it’s like a very intimate version of what I always imagined those old rock ‘n roll reviews to be like… a couple of songs, then on to the next band. And a great way to find some new faves, people:)
Wish I’d written that headline, but it’s straight from JK. But take both of our words for it and jump to this story from USA Today to get the skinny on how you can hear a chapter-by-chapter celebrity reading of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Fun stuff for everyone. Boredom, be gone!
I debated whether to post this one, because it’s not really a binge in any normal way. But I think binge-ing is really about diving into something and getting lost, and this is a fun and different way to do that. So maybe try losing a few hours drawing a few flowers. Why not? It’s Spring!
Just keeping the comedy in front of us these days. BuzzFeed put together a great list, and there are bound to be a few gems that are new to you. I’ve got to tell you… Keanu needs to be seen!
There’s more than you may think here, and the deals are ska-reemin’! It’s especially nice to pick up some ultra-hd flicks to fill that new 4K TV of yours!
Just passing on the deals that 9to5Mac is passing on. Sometimes, it is nice to own, and Apple is offering some amazing deals on series right now, including maybe the best TV show ever…. The Wire!
UPDATE: I’m keeping this up for another week, because it’s so damn good. The 92nd Street Y in NYC is an absolute institution, and any time you got a ticket to anything there, you knew your mind, heart and soul would grow that night. There are daily free streams from the archive, and now the Vault is open, too! You could literally binge on the archive of amazing concerts, conversations and performances here for weeks! To encourage you to poke around, it’s our Pin of the Week!
