From ‘The Matrix’ to ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ Netflix is losing quite a few choice movies this June, but at least ‘E.T.’ and ‘Starship Troopers’ will be here to provide some alien-filled adventures.

If you never caught Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you really do have a treat waiting for you. A great ensemble cast – built around Agent Phil Coulson – that you can fall in love with immediately. Plenty of time to fill in backstories throughout the Marvel Universe. (When it aired live, it tied directly into the film plots.) And lots of action but little blood, so perfect for family bingeing. Yes, it sometimes jumps sharks as it jumps across planets and across time, but they’re all the right sharks. Do it for the kids, including yourself, of course!
