Update: We’re leaving this up, because it’s so damn good! Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Enterprises is partnering with YouTube to present a world class film fest running online from May 29th through June 10. But that’s just the start of the collaboration. In all, 20 of the world’s largest film festivals, including the Cannes, Venice, Tokyo, Berlin, and New York film festival with be contributing to the effort. George Lucas has always told us that the idea of Star Wars drew heavily on the serial adventures of shows like Buck Rogers. And if you watch just a few episodes of the Clone Wars series, you’ll finally understand what he meant. The Sequels may have lost the plot for you, but there is a LOT to dive into here (133 episodes!) that will completely revive your appreciation for the life and times of that galaxy far, far away.
