Mini-Series, Maxi-Fun #2

,

Surely, this list by Bright Side overlaps all over the place with our previous Mini-Series binge post, right? Nope! So just keep diving in to get more ideas for short runs you can gobble down this weekend or over the next week. Variety, that’s some yummy stuff.

Mini-Series, Maxi-Fun #1

,

If you’re still in the stay-inside mode, why not accomplish something by crushing through an entire mini-series in a weekend blast? Screenrant has a nice crop of goodness for you here, with the easy-to-miss Maniac particularly catching my eye. Have a great weekend, all!

Find the Secret Gem: Amazon Prime

,

This little list from Mashable does a nice job of mixing old and new faves streaming now on Amazon. But there’s always an UNexpected show in there that is really DONE in a cool and different way. See if you can find it!

Don’t Go in that Closet!

,

If you’ve never done a Netflix Party, this may be all the motivation you need to try one. Use the chat just like yelling out in the theater. “Don’t open that door!” “Don’t go down by the lake!” “He’s in the house!” Because horror is a group genre, don’t you think. Thanks for the future scares, Bustle!

A Taste of HBO Max

,

What can you expect from HBO Max? This NYT list is more that just 10 movies. It’s actually full of turns, like the fact Max has the streaming rights to the entire Studio Ghibli 21-film catalog! That’s a score, my friends, so read up and binge on:)

A Super Hot Trailer Fest!

,

The AV Club has always had it going on, and they really deliver (again) with the damn good slideshow of upcoming films. I beg you… at least tap in to the list and get as far as the Freestyle Love Supreme trailer from Hulu. You’ll learn a lot about the amazing creativity that came before both Hamilton and The Heights. Trust me…

And If You Need a Little Escape from Earth…

,

This great slideshow from Stacker is cool to keep around for your next journey off-world. It has ratings for each, though doesn’t point to the when and where’s of streaming them, unfortunately. (We hope to offer that at Bingelandia soon, btw.) Still, a great, great list to keep close at hand. Check out the top 50 and see if you agree!

Great Kids Shows for Summer Break

,

School’s out – though it was only sort of in – and your kids need to be fed! Be fed awesome, interesting shows, that is. This one from Good Housekeeping gets my seal of approval for mixing it up with something for everyone. Some are new, some are old and all are worth checking out!

Theme That Binge: The Wild!

,

Ah, yes… You can binge your way through a show. You can binge your way towards a goal. And, of course, you can binge your way across a theme. I love this style, because there’s plenty of chance to compare and contrast. So it’s a new little feature to play with here at Bingelandia, and we tip our hats to Screenrants for putting this WILD platter together!

A Back-to-Work Bootcamp?

,

Well, maybe not per se. But this fun list from… wait for it… LinkedIn is kind of a fun way to work yourself back to the water cooler. Particularly if your desk in anywhere near Sales & Marketing…

Masters of the Big – and Little – Screen

,

Okay, your honking 75″ OLED hardly counts as a little screen anymore, but maybe that’s the point. The NYT profiles some truly great television shows by movie makers. Find out how all roads Wachowski lead to Sense8, and why you still gotta have Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It series on Netflix.
