Mind Warpers: The Binge That Keeps on Bending

,

Sometimes is nice to keep puzzling and puzzing over the last thing you watched before launching right into the next thing that’s out there. Enter Bustle, and their list of such twisters for your brain. Could be great fodder for a Netflix Party…. Just sayn:)

Get to Work! (Somebody Else’s Work, We Mean)

,

This is a fun one. A good read, sprinkled with a few links. So if you like your binge with a side of thoughtful commentary, dig right in. Makes me realize… I’ve got to finally get my Brooklyn Nine-Nine on….

Pin of the Week: Lincoln Center at Home

,

Amazing, world-class and… wait for it… FREE! It’s hard to overstate how amazing this offering from Lincoln Center in NYC truly is. There is a daily calendar and an on-demand list of amazing concerts, workshops, full opera and ballet performances and more. AND a nice little widget that lets you add alerts right to your calendar. Thank you, Lincoln Center!

Great Minds, Thinking Alike

,

At Bingelandia, our whole notion is that binge-ing isn’t about finding what’s out there. It’s about matching what’s out there with your mood and your appetite – which may be one in the same. So we love the way the Watch from NYT suggests binges to fit your sched this weekend. Hey, why not bookmark both of us?!

Pin of the Week: The 92nd Street Archives are Open!

,

UPDATE: I’m keeping this up for another week, because it’s so damn good. The 92nd Street Y in NYC is an absolute institution, and any time you got a ticket to anything there, you knew your mind, heart and soul would grow that night. There are daily free streams from the archive, and now the Vault is open, too! You could literally binge on the archive of amazing concerts, conversations and performances here for weeks! To encourage you to poke around, it’s our Pin of the Week!

Do you Hulu?

,

Because if that’s the voodoo that you do, this list is for you. You! Ahem. Seriously, it’s a good way to check what you’ve seen against what you could be seeing, so dive on in. Thanks, Thrillist!

Your Workout is Laughable (or at least it could be…)

,

Ah, the wonderful pairing of home workouts and good ol’ sitcoms. I learned the value of such when I tried to binge Ozark during morning exercises. Too dark to motivate. So I kept the Bateman, hit Arrested Development instead and lost seven pounds. This list from the NYT stretches from Fleabag to Cheers, with all the whats and wheres you need to get your heart pumping.

Because you watched…

,

I’m one of those who actually likes the Matrix Trilogy, through and through. But until Matrix 4 comes out, it’s fun to feed your man vs. his own creations jones in new ways, and this list from Looper gives you plenty to chew on.

Yes, It’s Getting Weird…

,

Actually, it’s been weird for awhile now. So, in the spirit of going with the flow, I hunted down some of the odder movies out there. I love this list from Collider… they really find the good (and in this case, strange) stuff!

Your Next Obsession Starts Here!

,

Props to the Collider staff for putting together an amazing list of binge-worthy TV shows with bite-size summaries that help you cover a ton of ground fast. Seriously, bookmark this post of theirs. It’s a winner you’ll want to revisit again and again. Happy Sunday, all!

And Speaking of Movies…

,

Uproxx has a nice little list here that is bound to have one or two surprises for you. This ought to help your weekend hunt a bit, oh yeah…

Smart Binges Have Arrived!

,

This is a great start to a category I’ve wanted to add for awhile. As they say, you can learn anything on YouTube, and now Netflix has posted their top education documentaries to inspire and excite kids (and savvy adults) everywhere. Grab your kids and dig in! And thanks to Cass for the link:)
