Delicious finds that are worth feasting as soon as they arrive – or before they’re gone!

More Great Work Out There

,

This article by RaVal Davis provides a great roadmap to some of the most diverse, interesting, exciting and powerful titles out there. Please give this a read! Many new voices are out there, so give them a look and a listen.

72 Hours of Earth Day Live

,

It’s Earth Day, and here’s an around the world stream that has no intention of shying away from the issues over the next three days. Discussion, musical performances and voices of hope. But I think their FAQ say it best – Earth Day Live is three days of action packed content that will inspire, empower, educate. Grounding the three days in the need for community, hope, and togetherness during such a difficult time, the three days will still follow a similar theme as the original Earth Day Strikes.

A Great Story on Every Level

,

And, of course, NPR is here to tell it well. This one is looking like a breakthrough on so many fronts, so don’t let it slip off your radar.

Say Yes to Animal Attraction!

,

This is a super great find from a super great friend. (Big shout out to Beth in NYC!) Seriously, even if you just make a two minute binge out of this, it’ll be two minutes incredibly well spent. Try the Jellyfish…

Calling All Creatures!

,

After watching as many cooking shows as I could stomach with my daughter, I was looking for something new for us to watch together. This show on SyFy is a delight! Same structure… teams answer challenges from experts… but the goal here is to build creatures, not bake cakes. It’s no exactly new, but sure new to us. So far, so great.

It’s Willie’s Birthday

,

And it’s a 420 fest hosted by Willie himself. Super charming… he was just telling some jokes and they’re making food now. Not sure how long it – or this link – will last, but check it out!

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass!

,

This three-day festival in Golden Gate Park in SF is far more than just bluegrass. And they kindly record shows and keep them up in their archives for all. Fill your house with music and feel good! No waiting!

This Week in Netflix

,

It’s Monday. How do we know? Because new things are on Netflix! Here’s a great summary from What’s On Netflix, which is an amazing go-to for all things Netflix, all the time.

Great Review, Hot Sports Binge!

,

If you haven’t heard of this yet, you will soon. (And you are now, it seems…) This doc about Michael Jordan and the Bulls’ quest for a sixth title is a real sports moment now. Who couldn’t use that? Great review by Deadline!

Find a New Find Here

,

Mashable does great, quick reviews, and this list is a gem. Shock yourself by counting up how few of these shows you’ve actually seen, or even heard about. So much to watch, so little time…

Cool – and free – for the Kids

,

In case ya didn’t know. In case you hadn’t heard. Amazon is doing families a serious solid by putting shows out there for free, and TechCrunch did everyone the kindness of passing along the word.

What CNET is Watching

,

CNET did a little poll around their crew, and some great recos popped up. Damn, people… there are some good turn ons here. Thanks, people of CNET!
